Bellringer 3/23/14

I feel that is stupid to change the legal smoking age to 21. Simply because, if you are 20 and smoke, you will no longer be able to buy them yourself. they need to leave well enough alone and raise the drinking age instead.

Bellringer 11/6/14

1. I think is kind of ridiculous that they elected her due to the fact that she is young and not as experienced as her opponents. However, I also think she may be able to help West Virginia in their attempts to keep our gun rights and reduce business taxes.
2. I feel that it will both help and hinder her effectiveness. I feel that it will help her because she has a fresh new look on topics that have been around for decades. However, I feel it will hinder her because she will have to deal with people not taking her seriously.

1. In the video she explained her diagnosis and how she planned to die. "I plan to be surrounded by my immediate family," she said in the video. "I will die upstairs in my bedroom that I share with my husband (...)and pass peacefully with some music I like in the background."
2. Rosales, citing that every major disability rights group that has taken a position on assisted suicide has opposed it, said that once people become more educated and get into the policy, "the more they turn away from it as the answer to the end-of-life question."
3. I feel that if you have little time as is and you no longer want to suffer that you should be able to "die with dignity" if you so choose.

Comments
Ability to handle and deal with a crisis
A-
I gave him an A- due to the fact that while he was generally wonderful at dealing with any crisis that arose, he made a mistake in continuing to stay in Iraq.
Ability to work with Congress and Cabinet
A I gave him an A in this area because he always tried to do things so that all parties would agree and he went through congress several times to get different movements turned into laws.
Character and Integrity
A+ He receives an A+ for his character and integrity because he constantly tried to make the worst situation seem slightly better.
Education
B I gave him a B due to the fact because he always tried to push for better education policies.
Empathy
B+ He received a B+ for this area because though he did try to do what was best for the people he never really asked for our opinion.
Foreign Policy
B- The grade was a B- for the fact that he, like so many others, didn't step in and try to stop unnecessary killing in foreign countries because he was afraid it would cause conflict.
Relates to the common man
B He relates to the common man fairly well so I gave him a "B."
Persuasiveness
A- He received an A- because he managed to convince congress to allow the formation of some pretty ridiculous policies.
Political Experience
A He gets an A for this area due to the fact that he was a Republican Party chairman, 2 terms in U.S. House of Representatives, U.S. Ambassador to the U.N, U.S. envoy to the People's Republic of China, and Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
Public speaking & Communication
C+ He receives a C+ for the fact that he had trouble getting his point across.
